For all jobs, please remember to tell us who you are, how we contact you and the name of your project.
What material would you like to foil onto
What size will the finished item be when it's flat
How big is the foil area, and where is it on the sheet
How many foil colours are there, and what are they
Do any of the foils overlap or butt up to each other
If the paper is pre-printed, was it sheet-fed, w/ turn, w/ tumble or w/ twist
Will the material already be varnished or laminated when you supply it
Do any of the foils butt or align to a critical degree with any other element - e.g. a printed, folded or cut area
Will the foiled area be flat, or embossed / debossed as well
Will the finished item need to be folded or made up
Will the finished item go through another process anywhere else (e.g. overprinting, laser printing etc)
Do you want a raised (embossed) or sunken (debossed) effect
What material would you like to emboss
What size will the finished item be when it's flat
How big is the emboss area
Will the material already be varnished or laminated
What kind of finish do you want - bevelled, faceted or rounded
Will the emboss be single, multi-level or sculptured
Does the embossed area butt or align to a critical degree with any other element - e.g. a printed, folded or cut area
Will the embossed area also be foiled (if so, also refer to 'Foiling' list)
Will the finished item need to be folded or made up
Will the finished item go through another process anywhere else (e.g. overprinting, laser printing etc)
What material would you like to print on to
What size will the finished item be when it's flat
How many colours are there, and what are they
Are the colours solid, tints or process
How many scans are there, and are they full colour, duotone or monotone
Will you print one or both sides of the sheet
How many pages are there (include both sides)
Does the print bleed off any of the edges
If varnished, will the varnish be on certain areas only (spot) or all over (full bleed), and will it be matt, gloss or sealer only
If laminated, will it be matt, satin or gloss
Will the finished item need to be folded or made up
Will the finished item go through another process anywhere else (e.g. overprinting, laser printing etc)
